Toyota has cemented its position as Australia’s most trusted car brand during the COVID-19 pandemic and emerging economic recovery, according to the results of a national survey released recently. The country’s top-selling automotive brand was named as the top-ranked car company in the 2021 Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brands survey.
It is the 16th year in a row that Toyota Australia has been recognised as having the highest level of consumer trust in the local industry. The national survey, conducted by independent consultancy Catalyst Research, asks thousands of ordinary Australians for their opinions on what brands are important to them.
Reader’s Digest said trust remains essential as organisations look at fresh ways to maintain and build stronger connections with their customers. It said the winners are brands recognised by consumers as being consistently reliable and value for money, whatever the economic climate.
Toyota Australia Vice President Sales and Marketing Sean Hanley said a priority for the company, its employees and dealers was to deliver a vehicle ownership experience that is the best in the industry.
“At Toyota, we’ve been very fortunate to be able to move quickly to overcome challenges and build exceptional customer loyalty,” Mr Hanley said. “We are extremely grateful that so many Australians continue to put their trust in Toyota to deliver quality vehicles and services, especially in tough times,” he said.
